Since 1.6 DVD resume doesn't work anymore, was working perfectly before. I was hoping that it was just a small issue solved in one of the following releases but still there: After stopping a DVD and trying to resume (even one sec later) the DVD starts from beginning, no dialog displayed to resume from last position. I'm using the internal DVD navigator, btw no other selectable, greyed out althoug PDVD 13 is installed and codecs are detected by MP. Currently 1.8 is installed, beside this no...

Edit 30/09/2013:
There is sadly no working Skype4MP right now. It seems that Skype (=Microsoft) is doing everything to prevent third parties developing a workable Skype client. So I guess there won't be a MP Skype plugin in the near future.
Consider this thread as an ongoing "brain-storm" in trying to find a workable sollution.

To be absolutely clear:

THIS PLUGIN IS NOT WORKING RIGHT NOW, so don't try to install it.

Hi,

When I save a music playlist in Mediaportal I'm not able to open this in Windows Mediaplayer(windows 8.1 x64).

The playlist just opens fine with VLC mediaplayer. A workaround to this is to open the Mediaportal playlist with VLC and save again, after this the playlist can be opened with Windows mediaplayer.

I'm not sure if this is really a bug in Mediaportal or Windows mediaplayer but I hope you can fix this so I can add my new songs...

Hallo!
Mein Mediaportal 1.5 hängt sich nach Standby immer auf. Es kommt dann die Nachricht "MediaPortal funktioniert nicht mehr". Manchmal kann ich noch etwas machen, manchmal friert das Programm ein. Spätetens nachdem ich dann ein Video oder Musik abgespielt habe, geht nichts mehr. Nach einem Neustart von Mediaportal funktioniert alles wieder problemlos. Ich hänge das Mediaportal log und 2 errorlogs an. Ich hoffe dass man daran etwas erkennt, ich poste auch gern noch weitere Information, wenn...

Ich hab nach ewigen Versuchen es endlich geschafft mein iMON LCD (kleines blaues Display !!!) einzurichten. Die Forumbeiträge, die ich bisher fand konnten mir kaum helfen, weil sie zualt waren oder ich zu blöd, um sie zu verstehen ;-)
Ich habe aber Anregungen aus diesen Tutorial mit einfließen lassen...lso an der Stelle, Schön Dank!

Mit diesem TuT (Tutorial) funktioniert das iMON LCD Display und die Fernbedienung iPAD.
Die Fronttasten meines Gehäuses Thermaltake DH101 funktionieren auch!...

Hello,

besides the problem posted one week ago i currently have another problem while watching TV. From time to time the Client is not able to open a TV Stream. The message "Unable to play: stream x" appears. In the last case the error appeared on the HTPC client while i watched TV via MPExtended. As soon as the error appeared also the stream on my Mobile Phone stopped working. No other device was connected to the server and the server was started just shortly before. After that i wasn't able...

TV Karten Digital Devices DVB-C/-T, 4 Tuner, inkl. CI Adapter sowie Unicam EVO (Rev.3).

Mit dieser Lösung kann man bis zu 4 Kanäle gleichtzeitig schauen/aufnehmen (sogar PAYTV! - entsprechendes CI, das das unterstützt ist dabei).

After trying for three days to get MP working, I gave up and uninstalled it.
Now I cannot open Media Center.
Something about a software restriction policy --
I remember something about that when trying to setup MP, but thought uninstall would negate it, apparently not.
How can I get my MC back, now that MP has apparently hijacked it and I no longer have MP installed?

Hallo, ich habe meinen mini-server jetzt mit einer dualtuner dvb-s2 Karte ausgestattet. Was mir jetzt zum Dreambox Ersatz fehlt, ist ein kleines Display welches den Status bzw. den Sender anzeigt. Gibt es soetwas vielleicht fertig zu kaufen oder einfach zu verwirklichen? Bin für konkrete Tipps sehr dankbar.

Updated recently to MP 1.6 Final, and using (ofcourse ) latest StreamedMP skin, but the comskip markers are not visible anymore, have you been reported about this thing before..?

Titan skin/MP 1.6 has issues too on showing the comskip markers:...

Ich vermisse derzeit eine Funktion im Mediaportal (1.9 - Titan Skin) die ich in der Vergangenheit sehr zu schätzen gewusst habe. Wenn man beim Programmieren einer Aufnahme einen Konflikt bzgl. der TV-Karten Ressourcen und bereits geplanter Aufnahmen produziert hat, kam eine Warnmeldung. Dann hatte man die Möglichkeit die Warnung zu ignorieren oder auf Aufnahmen zu verzichten. Leider funktioniert dies bei mir derzeit nicht mehr. Statt dessen wird die zuletzt beginnende Aufnahme nicht...

Hiall,

I recently upgraded my system from MP 1.8 -> 1.9
Now I realized that I can't playback Videos anymore that are coded in HEVC or 10bit AVC ...
Std. 8 but AVC and MPEG-2 works perfect.
So, I reinstalled the LAV Filter package (via the MP plugin list) ... still not working.
You start the vid, screen get's black and calibrate to the new fps rate but
quit within a second and we're back at the video menu ...
If I open the same file with MPC-hc it plays fine without problems
The Video itself is...
